Whether you’re cooking coconut oil for weight loss or you just enjoy the ‘coconutty’ burst of flavour in your favourite dishes, we’ve got a solution for you.
To help you out, we've put together a simple yet scrumptious Coconut Oil recipe for you to follow. Our Cocan infused Thai green curry is a mouth-wateringly tasty treat for any day of the week!
What You Will Need:
1 tablespoon of Cocan
1 yellow pepper
1 red pepper
1 red onion
2 cloves of garlic
350 grams of king prawn
Thai green curry paste
Thinly slice your peppers, red onion and garlic
Add your Cocan Coconut Oil into a frying pan on a medium heat until it has completely melted. Add your king prawns to the pan and slowly cook until they turn golden.
Add the red onion and garlic into the frying pan and cook until tender
Add the red and yellow pepper to the pan and cook on medium heat for around five minutes.
Add your Thai curry paste and stir. How much to add depends on personal taste however, we would recommend using two heaped tablespoons.
Pour your coconut milk into the frying pan and leave to simmer for 15 minutes.
Finally, serve your Thai green curry up for your hungry guests, white or brown rice works well as an accompaniment.
